Today I got to show off my guiding skills to my host family. I have memories about this one place from back in 2010, I think, when a friend said it was a must stop on your way to the Everglades (main entrance). I have been stopping there whenever I get close and sometimes twice a day if the Everglades where on the program.
The place become well known in the last 10 years, but it still has it original charm and still THE BEST MILKSHAKES IN THE WORLD.
I am telling you, if you drive by this place without trying you are missing a life experience. And my Colombian friends agreed with me.
“Robert is Here” is actually a fruit stand and still sells fruit and fresh honey too. And seriously with an advertisement as in the picture above, who would go past this fruit without buying?

Anhinga Trail
I prefer walking the anhinga Trail, it is not far into the everglades, but gives a great view on what it is and is filled with wildlife. But… apparently not in winter!
