And although we have added a lot of miles in the last few days, none of them felt like the driving days as we did starting this trip. Except today, since we are “just” going from Chicago to Pittsburgh and are getting close to the end of the trip. But with adding more miles we are getting more photo-opt stops.

Going through Michigan
We looped through Michigan to add a lighthouse and a state to our list. We couldn’t reach the lighthouse because waves were crashing over the pier, and we aren’t even sure you can reach it in summer.
At the end of the day, after about 500 miles driven, I got to hug Maarten and Elizabeth in Pittsburg.
